ZAGREB, Jan 29 (Hina) - The Eco-Social Forum of Croatia was established in Zagreb on Wednesday in the organisation of the Intercon d.o.o. company. The forum was established with an aim to encourage economy which is based on a balance
of economy, social peace and ecology.

established in Zagreb on Wednesday in the organisation of the
Intercon d.o.o. company. The forum was established with an aim to
encourage economy which is based on a balance of economy, social

It was said at the opening that the eco-social and market economy
was the most favourable model for overcoming the obstacles of the
21st century globalisation in which the rich were increasingly
exploiting the poor. It could also be applied as a model for world's
sustainable development.
The meeting was attended by about 50 representatives of Croatian
institutions and non-governmental organisations and Joseph
Riegler, the president of the Eco-Social Forum of Europe, based in
Austria.
