According to unofficial sources, Marko Slisko was killed in a car
near hotel "Slisko", which he owned.
Police are conducting a crime scene investigation.
Marko's brother Vjeko was killed in an armed showdown in downtown
Zagreb in March 2001. Allegedly he was the leader of a clan of the
Zagreb underground.
After his brother's murder, Marko Slisko was known to the public for
his conflict with Vjeko's widow Danijela, with whom he was in a
legal dispute over his brother's will, real estate and debts.
