VIENNA, Jan 13 (Hina) - Austrian Foreign Minister Benita Ferrero-Waldner on Monday opened a caterer congress in Vienna, "Europe Without Boundaries". Speaking about Europe and expansion from Austria's point of view, the minister said

The coming expansion circle is not the last step in the project. One
must not forget that after expansion, the Union will have new
neighbours with which ties must be fortified, she said.
In this context, she mentioned some of these countries, including
Croatia, about which she said had "implemented impressive reforms
in the past several years and clearly shown its wish to join
European associations".
"These efforts are not only in Austria's interest, but serve to
create a stability of our continent, and they deserve the Union's
increased attention and support in the coming years," the minister
said.
