Visiting Dubrovnik, the delegation headed by Msgr Renato Boccardo,
the organiser of papal trips, wishes to determine the best options
of John Paul II's third visit to Croatia, especially the site of the
mass.
Dubrovnik diocese bishop Zelimir Puljic said it had already been
determined the Holy Father would visit Dubrovnik on June 6. Two
possible locations for the mass are being considered, he added.
Dubrovnik mayor Dubravka Suica said the Pope would be received as
befitting the ancient Croatian city and its tradition.
Tomorrow the Vatican delegation will visit Osijek and Djakovo in
the east, which the Holy Father should visit alongside Rijeka,
Zadar, and Dubrovnik during his Croatian June 5-8 trip.
