The meeting, organised by the UNESCO, is held under the high auspices of the Albanian President.
Also present at the event apart from Mesic and the Albanian President will be the presidents of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro and about 100 political and religious leaders and representatives of international and religious organisations from around the world.
Mesic is scheduled to give a talk at the plenary session and hold several bilateral meetings.
