After Tuesday's session of the extended Sabor presidency, at which the Opposition's requests were turned down, the leaders of opposition parliamentary parties announced that opposition MPs would indefinitely boycott the voting in the Sabor.
The extended presidency failed to reconcile the opposite stands of the parliamentary majority and minority regarding whether there was a quorum when the Sabor voted against the no confidence-motion against Zuzul last week.
The HDZ abides by the stand that there was the necessary quorum, while the parliamentary minority accuses the ruling party of fixing the quorum and causing a parliamentary crisis.
Ivica Racan of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) said after the presidency's session that this was " a war being waged by facts".
Vesna Pusic of the People's Party (HNS) added that the opposition was thinking of other models of protests, too.
The Sabor Speaker and a senior official of the HDZ, Vladimir Seks, reiterated that everything was regular when the parliament last week voted against the opposition's no confidence motion against Zuzul, and said he had no reason not to believe the counters in the parliament.
He accused the opposition of trying to permanently obstruct parliament's work.
