The Croatians and their hosts discussed ways to strengthen relations between the two parliaments.
Later in the day, the delegation met the Bundestag's commissioner for relations with the Croatian parliament, Klaus-Peter Wilsch of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), the vice-president of the Social Democratic Party's (SPD) club of deputies and president of the Munich Institute for South-East Europe, Genot Erler, and the head of the German Foreign Ministry's political department, Michael Schaeffer.
This evening the Croatian delegation is expected to meet representatives of Croatian associations in Germany at the Croatian Embassy in Berlin.
On Tuesday the delegation is due to meet Bundestag vice-president Susanna Kastner (SDP).
This is the first visit of a larger Croatian parliamentary delegation to the Bundestag.
