ZAGREB, Oct 25 (Hina) - The president of the Siemens d.d. ManagementBoard, Uwe Gregorius, has been elected president of theGerman-Croatian chamber of industry and trade and the main task duringhis two year term in office is to
continue promoting bilateral traderelations.
ZAGREB, Oct 25 (Hina) - The president of the Siemens d.d. Management
Board, Uwe Gregorius, has been elected president of the German-Croatian chamber
of industry and trade and the main task during his two year term in office is
to continue promoting bilateral trade relations.According to a statement issued by Siemens on Monday, Gregorius was
elected at the Chamber's general assembly last week.
Germany is one of Croatia's leading partners in foreign trade. The two
countries' trade last year increased by 25 percent.
Croatia's exports to Germany amounted to US$733 million (18 percent more
than last year), while imports from that country amounted to $2.2 billion
(27.4 percent more than in 2003).
Between 1993 and the end of the first half of 2004, German companies
invested $2.1 billion in Croatia.
