At the end of September a commission appointed by the Council of Ministers stated that the Croatian-Bosnian consortium had submitted the best offer to draw up relevant documentation for the construction of the highway section connecting Budapest and the southern Croatian port of Ploce via Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The Croatian companies are led by the Croatian Construction Institute from Zagreb and the Industrial and Construction Design Institute from Rijeka, while the Bosnian companies are led by the IPSA institute from Sarajevo. Together they will draw up documents for six of the seven parts of the future section, while documents on the remaining section will be drawn up by an Italian company.
The value of the project is estimated at some 15 million euros and the funds were provided by the Bosnian government.
