In a statement carried by Saturday's issue of the Sarajevo-based Dnevni Avaz daily, Hadzipasic said that
the federal government had considered memoranda of understanding submitted by the two companies and decided that neither took into account the interests of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
T-HT's bid was based on the transfer of the company's majority interest in Mostar's Eronet mobile operator to HT Mostar, while Mobilkom offered to purchase a majority interest in Eronet and financially back HT Mostar so that it could provide services as a GSM operator.
The development of the third GSM network in Bosnia has been complicated by the fact that HT Mostar has an operating licence, while Eronet, which lost its operating licence, owns the necessary infrastructure.
