ZAGREB, Sept 13 (Hina) - Croatian Defence Minister Berislav Roncevicand his Bulgarian counterpart Nikolai Svinarov agreed in Sofia onMonday that the priority of bilateral cooperation was to strengthenstability and peace in Southeast
Europe, the Croatian Defence Ministrysaid in a press release.
ZAGREB, Sept 13 (Hina) - Croatian Defence Minister Berislav Roncevic
and his Bulgarian counterpart Nikolai Svinarov agreed in Sofia on Monday that
the priority of bilateral cooperation was to strengthen stability and peace in
Southeast Europe, the Croatian Defence Ministry said in a press release.Bulgaria supported bids by Croatia, Albania, and Macedonia, signatories
to the Adriatic Charter, to join NATO, as well as the entry of Serbia and
Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina into NATO's Partnership for Peace programme
with a view to further strengthening the region's stability.
Both ministers said their countries were willing to actively participate
in the international fight against terrorism, and underlined the need to
strengthen mutual cooperation.
