Captain Mladen Prebezec and 1st Lieutenant Marijana Plesa Cadonic returned from the UNMOGIP mission to Zagreb on Sunday evening, the Defence Ministry said in a statement on Monday.
They were among some 45 officers from different countries on a year-long stint working as unarmed military observers overseeing the cease-fire and the line of separation.
1st Lieutenant Plesa Cadonic was the first female officer in the mission and the first Croatian servicewoman to have participated in a UN military mission as an unarmed military observer.
