The ministry spokeswoman Ivana Krusec, stated this in response to questions about the publication of the edition "Deset Vekova Srpske Knjizevnosti (Ten centuries of the Serb Literature)" in which Renaissance poetry from Dubrovnik was included.
The ministry spokeswoman said that this was not Serbia's first attempt to lay claim to parts of the Croatian cultural heritage.
"Deset Vekova Srpske Knjizevnosti" was published by the Serbian heritage society Matica Srpska.
