LJUBLJANA, July 5 (Hina) - Speculation about the possible appointmentof two Slovene politicians -- Lojze Peterle and Borut Pahor -- assenior officials in the European Union, has provoked the reaction ofthe society of the so-called
erased Slovene citizens who believe thatPeterle and Pahor should be held co-responsible for the failure of thecountry's authorities to re-enter 18,305 citizens into the lists ofpermanent residents of Slovenia from which they were erased 12 yearsago when they did not apply for Slovene citizenship or could not begranted it.
