ZAGREB, May 17 (Hina) - Croatian Parliament President Vladimir Seks has said that it is not very likely that the Sabor will open a discussion on Croatia's cooperation with the Hague-based UN war crimes tribunal.#L# "Under a proposal which the co-ordination of heads of clubs of parliamentary parties' deputies made together, this topic was put on the agenda of the last parliamentary session under condition that consensus be reached on draft conclusions which could serve as a basis for the discussion. No consensual conclusions were drawn, and consequently this item will not be on agenda for the time being," Seks said on Monday after the parliamentary presidency held a session in which also the heads of the parliamentary parties' clubs took part. Asked about chances for the parliament to hold a discussion on the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), Seks answered that "chances are not big". He said that the next parliamentary session will be held from 26 May to 4 June, with 32 items, most of which are the opposition-sponsored bills, on its agenda. On 28 May, the Sabor will mark its day. Asked by reporters whether the parliament will be in session during the European Soccer Championship in Portugal next month, the Sabor's chief answered "we shall see". (Hina) ms
