1991, representatives of Belgrade's District Court said in The Hague on Wednesday, Serbia's Danas daily reported on Thursday.
BELGRADE, May 13 (Hina) - The special prosecutor for war crimes in
Belgrade will file by the end of June indictments against 14 more
persons for war crimes against Croatian captives at Ovcara farm in
1991, representatives of Belgrade's District Court said in The Hague
on Wednesday, Serbia's Danas daily reported on Thursday.#L#
A representative of Serbia's Special Court for War Crimes, Sonja
Prostran, told reporters in The Hague 11 of the 14 people being
investigated were already in custody.
Proceedings against the 14 persons will be combined with the trial of
six persons accused of the Ovcara crime which has already begun in
Belgrade, Prostran said.
A group of Belgrade District Court judges and prosecutors for war
crimes are visiting the U.N. war crimes tribunal in The Hague this
week. They met the court's president, Theodor Meron, and chief
prosecutor Carla del Ponte.
