"The DC and its president have nothing to do with the case," DC
President and Justice Minister Vesna Skare Ozbolt said after a meeting
of party leaders on Wednesday evening.
Skare Ozbolt resolutely rejected speculation that the affair was the
result of her attempt to settle accounts with Mate Granic, former
foreign minister, honorary president and founder of the DC, who was
suspected by the Office for the Prevention of Corruption and Organised
Crime (USKOK) of acting as a go-between in an act of bribery at the
expense of Koncar Electrical Industries Inc.
