ZAGREB, April 28 (Hina) - Wreaths were laid and candles lit at a memorial site in Borovo in tribute to 12 Vukovar police, who were killed in a Serb ambush in that town near eastern Croatia's Vukovar on 2 May 1991.

Tribute was paid by delegations of the Interior Ministry, the Ministry
on Family and War Veterans Affairs and Inter-Generation Solidarity,
the coordinating body of Homeland War associations, Vukovar Srijem
County and other veteran associations and members of the families of
the 12 policemen.
