Albania wants to see Kosovo on the path of democratisation and
integration with Europe, Moisiu said and added Albania was convinced
the final status of Kosovo would be solved with international support.
He said the authorities in Tirana advocated dialogue.
The Albanian president said he respected and supported the UN Mission
in Kosovo.
Holkeri thanked the Albanian president for his efforts to calm the
situation in Kosovo after the recent violence.
Moisiu also held talks with Kosovo President Ibrahim Rugova. Later
today he will hold talks with Kosovo political leaders. This is the
first official visit of an Albanian president to Kosovo.
