ZAGREB, April 20 (Hina) - The Croatian Minister for Family and War Veterans' Affairs and Inter-Generation Solidarity, Jadranka Kosor, on Tuesday met representatives of the Association of Former Anti-Fascist Inmates of the Italian
concentration camp on the island of Molat, who informed the minister of their request for compensation for the time spent in prison.

Veterans' Affairs and Inter-Generation Solidarity, Jadranka Kosor, on
Tuesday met representatives of the Association of Former Anti-Fascist
Inmates of the Italian concentration camp on the island of Molat, who
informed the minister of their request for compensation for the time
spent in prison.#L#
Representatives of the association, which has some 700 members,
informed the minister of the issue of paying compensation to the
inmates of this WWII concentration camp and pointed to the need to
establish a memorial centre at the site of the former camp.
Kosor said one of the main commitments of the Croatian government was
to protect the human rights of all citizens, including members of this
association.
