Bosnia-Herzegovina, headed by its president Martin Raguz, met in

and Supreme Court President Ivica Crnic.#L#
The Court of Bosnia-Herzegovina is the only court in the country
besides the Constitutional Court which has jurisdiction over the
entire Bosnia.
Minister Skare-Ozbolt acquainted the delegation with the Croatian
judicial reform.
The talks with representatives of the Croatian Supreme Court revolved
around the organisation of the justice systems in the two countries,
court management, and dealing with pending cases.
"We discussed judicial authority issues in the two countries, the way
courts ensure their independence, the position of judges, and the
current topic of war crimes trials," said Crnic.
He recalled that Croatian and Bosnian courts might take on trials from
the war crimes tribunal in The Hague as early as next year, and said
today's talks addressed how to act in such cases.
The two countries' courts share the same views on war crimes cases,
Crnic said.
Raguz said the Court of Bosnia-Herzegovina valued the support of its
Croatian colleagues in the realisation of its projects, and thanked
the Croatian side for assistance given so far.
