ZAGREB, March 30 (Hina) - The average monthly net salary in Croatia in January was 4,070 kuna (approximately 550 euros), which was a nominal increase of 0.6 per cent or 45 kuna compared to December 2003, but in real terms it was a
decrease of 0.4 per cent.

Compared to the average net salary in January 2003, the January 2004
salary was 4.6 per cent higher in nominal terms and 2.4 per cent in
real terms, the National Statistics Office said on Tuesday.
