PRISTINA, March 19 (Hina) - Kosovo's President Ibrahim Rugova, Parliament President Nexhat Daci and Prime Minister Bajram Rexhepi met on Friday evening to discuss the situation in Kosovo. After the meeting, they issued a joint
declaration stating that the situation in the province is gradually normalising.
PRISTINA, March 19 (Hina) - Kosovo's President Ibrahim Rugova,
Parliament President Nexhat Daci and Prime Minister Bajram Rexhepi met
on Friday evening to discuss the situation in Kosovo. After the
meeting, they issued a joint declaration stating that the situation in
the province is gradually normalising.#L#
The situation is improving, but we want additional efforts to be made
to fully normalise it, reads the document.
"Attacks on civilians and foreign soldiers are completely unacceptable
and contrary to Kosovo's vital interests. Once again, we most strongly
condemn the destruction of religious and cultural facilities and
houses and consider them unacceptable," reads the declaration.
The Kosovo leaders thanked all local and international institutions,
parties, associations and individuals for their efforts to defuse the
situation.
