said in Yad Vashem in Jarusalem on Tuesday.#L#
Zuzul, who is at the helf of Croatia's delegation to Israel, on
Tuesday visited the Yad Vashem memorial centre. The delegation laid
wreaths in the Remembrance Hall and Minister Zuzul signed the book of
impressions.
Yad Vashem was established following the 1953 decision of the Israeli
Knesset and has the most extensive documentation and archive on World
War II.
Yad Vashem awards medals called Righteous Among Nations to non-Jews
who risked their lives helping the Jewish people.
So far, more than 100 Croats have been proclaimed the Righteous Among
Nations.
