DUBROVNIK DUBROVNIK, Feb 25 (Hina) - Some 220 participants from 41 European countries and 12 consulting firms gathered at a plenary assembly of Post Europa, the association of European public post operators, and the European Committee
for Postal Regulation (CERP), which started in Dubrovnik on Wednesday.

the European Committee for Postal Regulation (CERP), which started in
Dubrovnik on Wednesday.#L#
The two-day event, which is hosted by the Croatian Post, focuses on
preparations for the international post congress, to be held in
Bucharest in September.
Apart from representatives of Post Europa and the CERP, the meeting is
attended by members of the leadership of the international office of
the Universal Postal Union (UPU).
The event is important for Croatia in light of its preparations for
membership in the European Union and the imminent entry of the
Croatian Post into the financial market.
