GOSPIC, Jan 30(Hina) - The United Nations Global Environment Fund will donate 120,000 euros through the World Bank to finance ten programmes in five Croatian counties that have been selected as part of a project to preserve karst
environmental systems.
GOSPIC, Jan 30(Hina) - The United Nations Global Environment Fund will
donate 120,000 euros through the World Bank to finance ten programmes
in five Croatian counties that have been selected as part of a project
to preserve karst environmental systems.#L#
The programmes are designed for family farms and businesses that
produce and contribute to their families and communities, while at the
same time they try to preserve the nature.
The donation deeds, worth between 1,800 and 23,000 euros, will be used
to encourage preservation of indigenous cattle breeds and to promote
bee-keeping and rural tourism on Mount Velebit.
