ZAGREB, Jan 24(Hina) - Vladimir Seks and Mato Arlovic have agreed the ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) party will chair 11 parliamentary committees while the other parties will chair 13, although the HDZ has the majority in
every committee, the HDZ said in a statement on Saturday.

It added the statement was issued to truthfully inform the public in
the wake of what it said were frequent and incorrect media
interpretations of the allocation of chair posts in parliamentary
committees.
It has also been agreed the HDZ will deputy chair committees in which
the chair post is held by other parties, which will deputy chair
committees headed by the HDZ.
Today's agreement also envisages that two parliament vice presidents
will hail from the HDZ and three from the other parties.
