Prevention of Crimes Against Humanity" and "Learning History of the 20th Century" in Zagreb on January 27 and 28.
ZAGREB, Jan 23(Hina) - The Croatian Science, Technology, Education and
Sports Ministry in cooperation with the Council of Europe and the
Education Institute will organise seminars called "Holocaust
Remembrance Day and the Prevention of Crimes Against Humanity" and
"Learning History of the 20th Century" in Zagreb on January 27 and
28.#L#
The seminars will be held on the occasion of the marking of the
Holocaust Remembrance Day for the first time in Croatian schools.
Also held will be a ceremony of proclaiming the Righteous Among
Nations, a recognition awarded by Yad Vashem to non-Jews who risked
their lives to save Jews during the Holocaust.
