"I do not expect Ratko Mladic and Radovan Karadzic to be arrested and handed over to the Hague tribunal before the end of the year because the authorities of Serbia and Montenegro are not negotiating with them on their surrender, nor do we know where they are hiding. At the moment, no one has reliable information on the whereabouts of the two most wanted fugitives from the Hague tribunal," Ljajic said in an interview with the Banja Luka-based Nezavisne Novine newspaper published on Monday.
Ljajic said he did not believe active-duty officers of the Serbia and Montenegro Army were protecting any of the fugitives sought by the Hague tribunal, underlining the political will of the authorities in Serbia and Montenegro to arrest them.
