All prices include VAT, the company's general director Mats Tilly said, adding that this was the first time a mobile operator in Croatia was offering the same prices for post- and prepaid services.
The Tele2 network and services are available throughout Croatia as of today, he said.
Comparing the prices of services offered by Tele2 and the other two mobile operators, Tilly said that the prices of calls within the company network were 60 percent lower, while the prices of calls to other networks and SMS messages were by 40 and 20 percent lower respectively. The prices of calls to other countries are by 25-45 percent cheaper than those offered by other mobile operators, he said.
Tele2 is owned by the Swedish operator Tele2 and nine Croatian companies. Tele2 is active in 25 countries and has around 30 million users.
