The central bank intervened on the foreign exchange market by purchasing EUR59.7 million at the average rate of 7.398181 kuna for one euro.
This is the seventh intervention this year by which the central bank tried to curb the appreciation of the kuna in relation to the euro.
The value of the euro went down 0.06 per cent from yesterday to 7.399197 kuna for one euro. The value of the US dollar also went down, by 0.88 per cent, to 6.135321 kuna for one dollar, as did the value of the British pound sterling, down 0.65 per cent, to 10.857222 for one kuna.
The Swiss franc went up 0.20 per cent to 4.784789 kuna for one franc.
