The two countries' delegations held talks in the Gamlit castle near Graz on the promotion of bilateral relations, a draft agreement on police cooperation and the opening of Croatia's EU accession talks.
"Austria reiterated its support to Croatia's joining European association," the head of Kirin's office, Drazen Krtanjek, told Hina. He said the talks also focused on Croatia's joining European Police Office (EUROPOL). Although it is not an EU member, Croatia can start cooperating with the police forces of the EU member states through the Action Plan for EUROPOL, he said.
