ZAGREB, Sept 20 (Hina) - The Croatian Ministry of Health and SocialWelfare and the European Commission have started drawing up a JointInclusion Memorandum (JIM) as one of the documents Croatia is expectedto adopt in the areas of
employment and fight against socialexclusion, as part of the EU Pre-accession Program.
ZAGREB, Sept 20 (Hina) - The Croatian Ministry of Health and
Social Welfare and the European Commission have started drawing up a Joint
Inclusion Memorandum (JIM) as one of the documents Croatia is expected to adopt
in the areas of employment and fight against social exclusion, as part of the
EU Pre-accession Program. Health and Social Welfare Minister Neven
Ljubicic on Tuesday opened in Zagreb a conference focusing on the presentation
of the current situation regarding the fight against poverty and social
exclusion and on devising future activities which Croatia would conduct in line
with EU objectives.
The conference is attended by representatives of the European
Commission, state administration and local authorities, social partners, civil
society organisations, etc.
