Glavas claims that in a statement to Vecernji List daily of Friday Puhovski said that he had been contacted by four persons who had also talked either with the police or the Chief State Prosecutor's Office about Glavas and accusations against him regarding crimes committed in Osijek during the war in 1991/1992. According to Glavas, Puhovski said in his statement that he considered it "important for people who committed crimes to be sentenced to show that such acts cannot be tolerated".
"If this is proven by a court decision, we would have a relatively favourable situation for the future," reads Puhovski's statement which prompted Glavas to press charges for coercion of judicial officials.
Glavas claims that Puhovski is directly urging the Chief State Prosecutor to launch criminal proceedings against him and force a relevant court to pass a guilty verdict regardless of the fact that the police are only gathering information about the allegations.
