ZAGREB, Aug 31 (Hina) - The Croatian Justice Ministry and IBM
Croatia on Wednesday officially started cooperation in the development of
computer systems used in the management of court cases (ICMS), which is one of
the most important and most demanding elements in the computerisation of the
judicial system. The purpose of the project is to increase court
efficiency, reduce costs, improve court procedure and make information more
accessible to citizens, Justice Ministry officials said on Wednesday.
Speaking at the first meeting of ICMS development teams, Justice
Minister Vesna Skare Ozbolt said the computerisation of courts should be
completed by December next year.
