Burazer, the leader of the largest trade union organisation in the Sibenik company, said that all 58 employees of the transport unit would keep their jobs and that their acquired rights would be respected.
Commenting on last Saturday's protest organised by the coordinating body of Croatian road hauliers, who are dissatisfied with the sale of the business unit to the Slovene company, Burazer said that the protest was organised by some people in the Sibenik company who had awarded transport jobs to the company's subcontracts and charged commission for it.
The leader of Croatian road hauliers, Ivan Knezovic, has said that the signing of the contract, which grants the Slovene company the exclusive right to transport all TLM products in the next three years, jeopardises the survival of Croatian hauliers.
The hauliers have said they expect the government to examine the documents on the sale of the factory unit and inform them of its findings this week, otherwise they will stage a protest of all Croatian road hauliers next Saturday.
