ZAGREB, July 20 (Hina) - Croatian Pensioners' Party (HSU) leader
Vladimir Jordan said on Wednesday that by reinstating the so-called Swiss
formula for pension adjustment and introducing an administrative fee of 30 kuna
on health services, the government had practically terminated its agreement
with the HSU and pensioners' associations. The HSU does not want to
close the door to dialogue, so before the autumn sitting of Parliament,
scheduled to start on 15 September, it will gather the views of all pensioners'
associations about whether it should stay in the parliamentary majority or
not, Jordan told reporters during a break in a meeting of the party
leadership.
Jordan said he expected that Prime Minister Ivo Sanader would find time
to meet him during the summer to discuss the newly-developed situation and
determine priorities for the continuation of dialogue.
