After yesterday's talks with German President Horst Koehler and Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, Fischer said there were probably different views within the European Union of the meaning of Croatia's full cooperation with the Hague war crimes tribunal, said the daily.
Fischer said that in case the accession talks did not start next week it was very important to encourage Croatia so that disappointment on the home policy front did not undermine the successes achieved in EU integration so far.
