The head of the EC Delegation, Vincent Degert, said that ethnic minorities enjoyed great support of the EC Delegation, which has been working on several initiatives with the Roma minority.

Roma representative Tofko Dedic said this was a historic day for Roma in Croatia and Europe. Expressing gratitude to Degert, Dedic said that the greatest credit for the project went to a former coach of the Croatian football team, Miroslav Ciro Blazevic, who has been elected coach of the European Roma football team. The forming of this team is soon to be confirmed by the UEFA.
The Roma football team playing today's match consisted of Roma from Croatia, Austria, Italy, Hungary, Slovenia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
