OPATIJA, Oct 6 (Hina) - The Committee of Political Directors of the Southeast Europe Cooperation Process (SEECP) met in the northern Croatian Adriatic resort of Opatija on Thursday and Friday to discuss the situation in the region and
issues relating to the exit strategy of the Southeast Europe Stability Pact, highlighting the importance of Euro-Atlantic integration processes as frameworks contributing to the region's stability, security and progress.
OPATIJA, Oct 6 (Hina) - The Committee of Political Directors of
the Southeast Europe Cooperation Process (SEECP) met in the northern Croatian
Adriatic resort of Opatija on Thursday and Friday to discuss the situation in
the region and issues relating to the exit strategy of the Southeast Europe
Stability Pact, highlighting the importance of Euro-Atlantic integration
processes as frameworks contributing to the region's stability, security and
progress. The meeting was chaired by the State Secretary for
Political Issues at the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European
Integration and SEECP National Coordinator, Hido Biscevic.
Croatia assumed the presidency of the SEECP on May 4, 2006 at a meeting
of heads of state and government in Thessaloniki, Greece.
