The agreement was signed by Croatian Economy Minister Branko Vukelic and UNMIK official Paul Acda, and initialled by Kosovo Trade and Industry Minister Bujar Dugolli.
Vukelic said that the agreement was part of the process of liberalisation of trade with Kosovo and recalled that the free trade agreement with Serbia did not regulate the issue of liberalisation of trade with Kosovo.
The agreement will take effect on November 1, Vukelic said, announcing a visit of a Croatian business delegation to Kosovo.
In the first six months of this year, trade between Croatia and Kosovo amounted to 55.4 million euros. Croatian exports to Kosovo accounted for 55.3 million of the amount, while Kosovo's exports to Croatia amounted to 107,000 euros.
