ZAGREB, Sept 26 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Tuesday received for talks the leader of the People's Party "Work for Prosperity" and candidate for the Croat member of the Bosnian state presidency, Mladen Ivankovic, at
the latter's request, the Office of the President said in a statement.

Tuesday received for talks the leader of the People's Party "Work for
Prosperity" and candidate for the Croat member of the Bosnian state presidency,
Mladen Ivankovic, at the latter's request, the Office of the President said in
a statement. Ivankovic informed President Mesic about political
processes in Bosnia-Herzegovina and stressed the need to speed up the process
of democratising the Bosnian society and adopting European standards.
President Mesic supported the efforts of Ivankovic's party to see
Bosnia meet the criteria for membership of the EU and NATO.
