In her address, she fully supported the Treaty and highlighted Croatia's active role in nuclear disarmament and prevention of proliferation of nuclear weapons.
She said Croatia held a course in July on the international supervision of nuclear tests and that it planned to set up a national data collection centre.
Croatia has also signed the Joint Ministerial Statement on the CTBT.
Grabar-Kitarovic also met her counterparts from the Dominican Republic, Mauretania, and Kazakhstan. They discussed further development of bilateral relations, both political and economic, as well as cooperation in multilateral organisations, notably in connection with Croatia's candidacy for nonpermanent membership of the UN Security Council in 2008-09.
