Emphasising that China and Croatia have good relations, Tang said that Mesic's visit to Beijing in 2002 greatly contributed to the strengthening of the relations between the two countries.
Tang added that his country was interested in better cooperation in the tourist trade, and in this context he called for liberalisation of visa regimes.
Mesic agreed that it was necessary to invest more efforts in the enhancement of the economic cooperation between Croatia and China.
The Chinese official thanked Mesic for his invitation to Chinese President Hu Jintao to pay an official to Croatia.
