"One can expect that from Kostunica because he is in a parliamentary coalition with a party that was the architect of that policy. Besides, the main ideologists and promoters of that policy are actively supporting Kostunica's cabinet in Serbia today, which is why the silence of those who wish to be the linchpins of the so-called democratic bloc in Serbia is even more devastating," Korac wrote in his article published in Banja Luka-based Nezavisne Novine and cited by some electronic media in Belgrade.
"Were all the victims from the lines of refugees innocent or were some of them responsible for what had happened? Was the establishment of the so-called Serb states on Croatian soil followed by ethnic cleansing of local Croats? Was their property plundered and were crimes committed against them as well? The true answer to those question is the only way truly understanding Storm Operation and its consequences," Krac said.
"Croatia and Serbia are yet to deal with an arduous and long process of facing Storm Operation. Each region will have to do that on its own. Diplomatic relations between Croatia and Serbia will continue to improve, but to facing Storm Operation will be necessary if we want our societies to have a real future," Korac wrote.
