PULA, July 24 (Hina) - Representatives of the Croatian Science and Education Ministry, the Zagreb-based scientific institute of Rudjer Boskovic and Istrian authorities on Monday signed a letter of intent on promotion of science and
tertiary education in the largest Croatian peninsula of Istria.
PULA, July 24 (Hina) - Representatives of the Croatian Science and
Education Ministry, the Zagreb-based scientific institute of Rudjer Boskovic
and Istrian authorities on Monday signed a letter of intent on promotion of
science and tertiary education in the largest Croatian peninsula of Istria. The document, signed in the city of Pula, envisages the establishment
of a centre for research in maritime science, biomedicine and genetics with an
emphasis placed on research and cultivation of common local agricultural plants
and herbs.
The centre is due to be opened in two years' time in the town of
Buje.
