The attorneys for Ante Gotovina would like to publicly reiterate the fact that they are satisfied with the level of cooperation with the government. The government has enabled us to have access to documents and witnesses and provided with logistic support, the attorneys said in the statement in reaction to some media headlines claiming otherwise.
Prime Minister Ivo Sanader and his cabinet have demonstrated a firm intention to establish the truth about the Homeland Wat before the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, therefore we are convinced the government will get involved in the Gotovina case as well as in the Markac-Cermak case so as to dismissed accusations about a joint criminal enterprise, the statement said.
