BRUSSELS, April 27 (Hina) - Croatia's negotiators in Brussels on
Thursday started the second phase of the so-called screening process for the
industrial policy and entrepreneurship chapter, during which they will present
the level of the adjustment of Croatia's legislation to that of the EU, Croatian representatives will speak about fundamental documents and the
existing situation and activities in industrial policy and individual
industrial sectors in Croatia, including car industry, pharmaceutical industry,
biotechnology, chemical industry, construction, shipbuilding, defence
industry, tourism, metal, textile and wood industries.
As part of this chapter, Croatia will have to introduce two new EU
regulations to its legislation - the recommendation on defining micro, small
and medium-sized companies and the regulation on late payments.
