After his talks with del Ponte in The Hague last week, Tihic told Dnevni Avaz daily on Sunday that political statements on readiness to fully cooperate were not sufficient for the ICTY Prosecutor's Office and that the tribunal demanded concrete results, namely the arrest of Radovan Karadzic.
Del Ponte particularly criticised the authorities of Bosnia-Herzegovina and Republika Srpska, stressing there was no time time wait after Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica promised to arrest the second most wanted fugitive Ratko Mladic by the end of April.
"In case Serbia extradites Mladic, then Bosnia will be under pressure and we will be in a difficult situation," Tihic said suggesting this would probably mean the suspension of negotiations of Bosnia's Stabilisation and Association Agreement with the European Union.
