Primorac made the address at a working lunch organised by AmCham. Present at the event were also US Ambassador Ralph Frank and Australian Ambassador Anna Christina George.
Croatia is receiving positive assessments from abroad for its reforms in the sector of education, Primorac said. He also stated that more than 20 percent of the country's population did not have primary education and that more than 60 percent of those who enroll at universities never graduate.
Primorac pointed to positive changes that have been happening in Croatia in the perception of the importance of science for the development of local communities.
